Open Access, License, Publication Policies and Ethics

Open Access

All papers that are published in the Proceedings of  International Scientific Conference „Technique, Technology and Education“ (ICTTE) have undergone peer review and upon acceptance are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. The Open Access is according  to the Budapest Open Access Initiative.


The papers is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

Responsibilities of Authors

The authors must publish only original and authentic data. The authors have to respect the ethical ethical approach towards other researchers. The information for participation of other persons in research and publishing of their personal data have to be included. The authors are obliged to participate in peer review process. The authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes. The plagiarism is not allowed. An article, published in ICTTE, must not be published in another conference or journal.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

All decisions of the reviewers have to be objective. Personal criticism of the authors is not allowed. All reviewed articles have been treated confidentially. Reviewers must not have conflict of interest with respect to the research and the authors. Reviewers may point out relevant published work which is not yet cited. Reviewers have to assess the manuscript in a timely manner.

Peer-Review Process

Submitted manuscripts are validated by the Editorial Board by checking of technical and basic scientific compliance with conference requirements. The Editor may choose to reject manuscripts that do not fit within the topics of the conference, or are clearly lacking in scientific quality. Validated manuscripts are assigned to an Editorial Board Member on the basis of the profile submitted with the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief performs a Progression Assessment using a review form. Manuscripts selected for Progression are assigned by the Editor-in-Chief to independent Referees for Peer Review. The Referees reports are received by the Editor-in-Chief who makes a recommendation to the Editor. This may involve one or more rounds of revision by the authors. The Final Decision to publish or reject is made by the Editor or a member of the Editorial Board. The Editorial Office is responsible for administering the Process, and all communication between Authors, Editor-in-Chief and Referees is via the Office. Editor-in-Chief may choose to remain anonymous, and Peer-Reviewers are always anonymous. A well prepared manuscript of high scientific quality will normally be sent to Editor-in-Chief within one week, be returned for sending to Peer Reviewers within a further -week and then for a two weeks response. If no revisions are needed, the manuscript could be accepted within five weeks.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/ accept an article on the basis of objective academic criteria, such as originality, importance and clarity. Editors have to accept a paper when reasonably certain. Editors have to accept the right of authors to appeal against their decisions. Editors have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/ accept. When errors are found editors have to promote publication of correction or retraction. Editors have to preserve anonymity of reviewers. Editors have to be reasonably certain of accepting articles. Editors promote the publication of corrections or retractions of the text if errors or inaccuracies occur in the text. Editors have to maintain integrity of the academic record. Editors are also willing to preclude business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards. Editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.

Responsibilities of Publisher

The publisher has to provide monitoring of publishing ethics by the Editorial Board. The publisher has to review conference policies periodically. The publisher has to maintain the integrity of academic record. The publisher can publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions.
